0:44.3	because Calvinism has a tendency to contradict itself, if you haven't noticed. And sometimes
0:50.7	it's more blatant when you hear it from the Calvinists themselves.
0:55.8	We all know that watch this show anyway, what Calvinists teach about the T of Tulip, total depravity.
1:03.5	R.C. Spruill calls it total moral inability. Even John MacArthur calls it inability.
1:08.9	And this is the idea that we're all born because of the fall of Adam, God decreed for all
1:14.3	mankind from that point forward to be born in a condition where they were unable to receive
1:19.7	the gospel.
1:20.5	They're unable to believe and trust in God.
1:25.3	So that's really important to understand and notice. But I don't want you to hear it from me.
1:30.1	I want you to hear it from John MacArthur so that you know I am being fair here in my representation.
1:34.9	So let's listen to MacArthur describe the typical Calvinistic understanding of the tea of tulip.
1:43.1	Their hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. And Jeremiah also
1:47.8	says they don't have the power like the leper, change his spots, Ethiopian, his skin. His mind
1:56.9	is corrupt as well as his heart, every way possible. It is also unable and incapable. Listen
