And unfortunately, we recorded the Winky Wednesday pod early Tuesday. And as soon as we got

done recording, this bomb gets dropped from Adam Schaefter about Trent Williams. And then,

you know, and of course, John Lynch has asked about it an hour later when he goes on the podium

at the combine and talk about a number of subjects, Croc. But first, we got to talk about Trent Williams. and we're getting to this a little bit late, but, you know, it's good because we have a chance to really look over the contract, figure out what's really going on here and try to read between the lines instead of just, you know, reacting to it live as Schifter tweets out, something like this that says, with five-time all-pro left tackle, Trent Williams,

scheduled to carry a $39 million cap number this season.

He and the 49ers currently are struggling to find a contractual solution per league sources.

If the two sides can't bridge their differences in their standoff,

Williams would be expected to join this year's free agent class, making him one of the

premier players available.

And Croc, that is one of the most obvious and egregious.

The agent gives Adam Schaefter some nugget of information right before John Lynch is about to go and talk at the podium at the combine to try to stir up some stuff, Kroc.

And boy, did it stir up some stuff.
