Hello, welcome to Evil Genius, the BBC podcast where we take legendary achievers from history and ask,

were they actually any good?

I'm talking stellar figures who were also rather rowgish,

icons who were sometimes bang out of order,

sometimes even revealing lovely stuff about people you thought were vile,

make your own list in your head people.

Can you still respect a vision,

reveal the art or thinking once we've reflected on what utter dastards they were,

or not?

Here, I'm interested in agreeing on only one thing.

Were they evil?

Or genius?

I took less fee to make that sound happen.

No grey areas in this studio, apart from my tragically just for men covered hair,

we'll be sticking this subject in one of those boxes by the end of the show.
