And I'm an alcoholic. I can say that I'm going to have to raise the intellectual tenor of my pitch tonight so let me

pull out some big words here and I realized once I was actually pitching and this thing went off and I thought at the time

and I mentioned it to the group that this is a miracle.

i think of all the rainy nights that i stood in front of

phone booths in hollywood

waiting for my dealer to call. Only to be told the shit wouldn't be here till tomorrow. Life would have been so much easier with cell phones then.

Before I forget I want to thank Bob for asking me to come here tonight.

I've been talking via email and over the phone for several months and I guess because what I do for a living it's always very difficult for me to commit in a long-term advance to speak somewhere

because being an actor is sort of like being in the army you're not quite ever sure when you're

going to be called up to do something so but I'm glad I was free and I'm glad I'm here and I also

want to say how thank you

and also it seems a perfect venue for a convention.

What better place for an alcoholic to be where there's gambling, free booze, and prostitutes?

Yeah. Plus you've got to walk through the whole goddamn casino to get in here.
