junk holder from growing your greens and he's going to share some of his

favorite soil amendments. I actually remember one of the maybe second or third

videos I ever watched on John's YouTube channel which is just

growing your greens type that into YouTube or look at the podcast description was

about his love for rock dust and that's kind of what got me into even thinking about soil amendments, I guess in the past really early on in my gardening life,

I just didn't really know that much about soil.

And I know if you've listened to the podcast, you know by now, I at least know a little bit more. I've been really studying the

soil food web and all these sorts of interactions that go on as well as the

amendments that you might put into your soil to fix some of the problems that your

native soil might have.

So with that being said, I'm going to let John come in and share some of his favorite

soil amendments and why he likes them so much.

There's so many different things you could add to your soil, you know, some are probably not needed and

some are super critical,

super important, and unfortunately not talked about enough.

Of course, top my list, compost.

Oh my God, compost is the king and should be added but not all compost are created equal right

most people put a bacterial dominated compost it's made with a you know a heat pile

or whether that's from your local municipality that's basically taking green bins and
