Last fall, former Secretary of State John Kerry launched a major initiative

designed to focus laser-like attention on the threat that climate change posed to the future

of the planet. Calling his new coalition World War Zero,

Kerry recruited former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, former Republican governors,

Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Kasich, and Hollywood celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio

to participate in town hall meetings and other events around the country that Kerry hoped

could lead to wartime mobilization to address the issue.

But as he was about to get started, the coronavirus pandemic hit, offending daily life and

distracting the country's attention. And yet, the existential threat posed by climate change

has hardly gone away. We'll talk to Kerry about his initiative and what lessons can be learned

from the country's COVID-19 shutdown on this episode of SkullDuggery.
