The El Segundo Times did a long story today inside the war on urban coyotes.

There seems to be two different factions who are arguing as to what to do about what appears to be

escalating numbers of coyote reports in many neighborhoods.

John says it could be the drought.

Some of it might be the pandemic where they just felt more freer to Rome.

I'm looking in the story at a man by the name of Chase Niezner, a PhD candidate at the Institute for the Environment and

Sustainability at UCLA. He has a phrase, cloud coyotes. He says that these are the types of coyotes

that exist on things like the next door app and on social media platforms.

They're not the real world.

I get it.

And he says they're depicted as terrifying phantoms that threaten the sanctity of homes and yards,

eat pets, and attack children with impunity.

Oh, he's full of garbage.

That people post real photos and real videos of the coyotes.
