All right, we're going to go now to that news conference in Orange County.

Sherwood, S-H-E-R-W-O-D, with Orange County Fire Authority, and I'm an incident commander for the coastal incident.

I'd like to start off with a couple numbers and updates for you.

Currently, we're at 200 acres. We have a 15% containment.

Right now, I would like to take the moment to thank all of our assisting agencies from LA County, Riverside County, San Diego County, and especially thank you to Cal Fire and their resources.

Without their assistance, we would not have the success that we have currently.

Talk about damage and destroyed structures. Currently we have 20 destroyed structures and 11 damaged.

And that assessment has been completed and we continue to work with the city of Laguna

Nogal to handle and address any of the impact residents in that community.

Talking about our upcoming weather, we still had afternoon winds and we

expect the weather to get hotter and drier over the next two days, so that'll still continue

to challenge all of our firefighters in our efforts toward containing this fire. Currently,

we have 550 firefighters assigned to the incident. We have reported a second injury.

I am happy to report all of our firefighters that have been injured, have been assessed at the hospital,

and have been released.

For the community, we want to take a moment and say thank you for all their patients.

We are continuing to work diligently in all of our efforts to not only contain the fire, but

to address all of those that have been impacted with their homes and we will continue with

that effort.

We want to thank them for their patience and we will continue to work diligently each

night until this fire is put at 100% containment.
