we talked to a reporter, writer by the name of Sam Canonis.

He had written an article for LA Magazine about L.A. Skid Row and how the whole drug problem there

and the way this whole thing is handled is kind of something that's spreading around the whole country.

What was in there and what we talked about with him was this idea that's for too long

been the major strategy when it comes to homeless is housing first.

And because they can't find the housing, either for reasons it costs too much or people don't

want it in their neighborhoods or it's rejected because it's a shelter

or it's some other type of a tiny home or something that the homeless don't want, it just ends

us in a quagmire. So what he really wanted to talk about was the drug use problem that has

really made homelessness a bigger problem than ever.

And he was interviewed by intelligence from New York Magazine,
