It is unfortunate that we're back together talking about another mass shooting incident in Orange County.

It was only last year. We had the incident at Geneva Presbyterian Church.

Today we're back again talking about another incident within our jurisdiction.

I want to thank you for taking time to cover this story.

It's an important one.

I will share with you details as we know it.

As of today, I will also stress to you that this continues to be an ongoing investigation, meaning that we are still processing the crime scene and probably will still be doing that into tomorrow.

And it's just a sad day for us. Tripico Canyon is a very quiet community. It is a very close community.

And Cook's Corner for decades has been a part of that

community.

And I will start by just maybe clarifying.

The media, not being critical,

but the media is referred to Cook's Corner as a biker.

It might have been what it was 30, 40 years ago, but it's transitioned into something much behind what it is.

It's a gathering place.

It's a place for families to go to share a meal, and it's a tight-knit community within the Dubuco Canyon.
