Supreme Court releases its most contentious, awaited decisions. And two that came down very quickly

late last week were about affirmative action and student loans.

We'll talk a little bit about affirmative action later on this hour, and that was a long time coming.

But we'll begin with the student loan debacle.

And of course, the Biden administration pulled this one out to forgive student loan debt because they wanted a nice turnout for the 2022 midterm elections.

They thought this would, and maybe, according to some polls, it did help in some of the races.

As you know, the Democrats did not suffer as much as people thought they would in the House

of Representatives and the Senate.

But so he pulled out a 2003 law called the Heroes Act,

which was passed at the time of the Iraq War.

They used that as the basis to cancel student loans.

Now, what had already been going on,

back to when Trump was president with the pandemic,
