Attorneys for L.A. County.

He was part of this event today in El Monte.

We carried some of it last hour, a news conference where they brought together people

from law enforcement, along with families of murdered police officers to call out the policies of L.A.

County District Attorney George Gascon. This, of course, coming on the heels of the horrible

event this week, the shooting deaths of two Elmonte police officers by a guy who benefited

from George Gascon's directives. He should have been in state prison because he was a felon

with a strike on his record and he got caught with a gun, which is a felony. And that's what the law

says. But Gascon doesn't like that law and decided to ignore it. Yeah. And instead the guy got like 20

days, which he got time served for. And there he was. Now we also heard a report that his

probation officer was going to write him up for this problem with his wife, domestic violence.

Still, didn't put him in jail immediately, was going to wait until the hearing on June 27th. And they

probably wouldn't have put him away after the June 27th hearing anyway.

Because they don't put anybody in jail.

No, that's the policy.
