We had the Reverend Andy Bales on a few weeks ago, and he talked about at the time,

he's the leader of their Union Rescue mission here in Los Angeles, downtown L.A. on Skid Row.

And he's run a mission for many years that has been successful in getting homeless people

back on track.

And he's been very outspoken that the government's insistence on housing first, rather than

providing temporary shelter and starting to give them treatment.

Housing first means you've got to wait years and years.

It costs $500,000, $800,000 a place. In the meantime, the bodies are stacking up all over the place.
