We're going to talk about Oregon, but I spend a minute on San Francisco.

The Wall Street Journal did a stunning story yesterday about a building in San Francisco

on California Street. It's a 22-story glass and stone tower office building. In 2019,

it was worth around $300 million. If it were sold today, $60 million because it's vacant.

In fact, it says in another story that 30% of San Francisco office space is now empty.

Seven times more than the rate before the pandemic.

And now you have an 80% decline in this particular building's value.

And the property taxes will get reassessed.

And that's going to be an 80% hit on the property tax revenue to the city.

In fact, that's another story that I just found in a Bay Area website.
