As everyone awaited Trump for his court appearance today, he was indicted.

34 felonies dealing with bookkeeping.

That's really what it is, the case from the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Jr.

We'll play some of the audio, talk a bit about the case coming up later on this hour.

But we begin by talking about a goat, literally, not the greatest of all time, but an actual animal that was a goat.

Cedar the goat, nine-month-old Cedar the Goat, a seven-month-old Cedar the Goat, who, well, involved in quite a crazy case.

We're going to talk to the attorney for the family. She's representing Jessica Long, whose daughter raised Cedar the Goat.

They gave the little girl the goat back about a year ago.

It was purchased by Long for their nine-year-old daughter who fed and cared for the goat every day.

Loved them, according to the lawsuit, like a family pet. But then, in June of last year,

they entered Cedar into the Shasta District Fair's junior livestock auction. An event in which

animals entered for auction are, quote, part of a terminal sale in which they're sold off to be

used as meat. No exceptions, according to a fair brochure.

Well, you might guess what happened next.

Before beginning began, the family changed their mind,

and they went and got Cedar and took her home.
