Hey there, guys. Yeah, just like in Monterey Park, there was the question early on if it was going to be a hate crime that the victims were all of Asian and Hispanic descent. We got an update a few minutes ago from San Mateo County from investigators there, and they say that they are very certain that what unfolded at the two mushroom farms that it was workplace violence.

They say it was not a hate crime. They are very sure of that. He was a worker who was angry at

coworkers and took out his anger on them, not angry at the businesses, but angry at the people

who he worked with. And the sheriff in San Mateo County saying this.

All of the evidence we have points to this being the instance of workplace violence.

The Mountain Mushroom Farm, the first location is where the subject was employed.

And in fact, we talked to the DA, Stephen Wagstaff, and he says that the alleged shooter in that case is talking.

In fact, a lot to investigators, and that has led them to know exactly what this was that there's no real mystery here this isn't one of

those where the guy is dead or won't speak to them he's laying it all out and he says they

they totally got it the d a is are getting ready to file charges he gave several hour long

statement last night in this building here.

And while I won't go into the statement, what I will say it has alleviated for us and he thought that this was a hate crime.

Yeah, and he says not anything else either other than workplace violence was seven dead, one more badly injured.

They're notifying next of kin today and the sheriff saying,

that's tough to do because many of the victims are migrant workers who don't have family in the
