was detained, not charged yet, for driving his car through the group of recruits in South Whittier.

This was last Wednesday morning.

He not only appeared on Channel 4 and said that it was not a deliberate act.

He fell asleep.

The man's name is Nicholas Gutierrez, who we will talk to his attorney coming up in a couple of hours.

Yesterday, of course, and over the weekend, the big story was the shooting at a nightclub in Colorado Springs.

It was a gay nightclub, a LGBT. There was a drag show going on

when a man came in, a 22-year-old, and opened fire, identified as Anderson Lee Aldrich. He was

taken down by a couple of patrons in the club, including a man we talked about yesterday who used to serve in the military, an army veteran named Richard Fierro, who had jumped on him from the back and dragged him to the ground, and eventually they were able to kick the main weapon away, but there was a pistol in the gunman's pocket, which apparently fell out,

and Fierro actually started beating him with it.

Somebody else got involved, too, and they were eventually able to subdue the shooter.

We're going to start, though, by telling you that the alleged shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich,

22, was Nicholas F. Brink, up until the age of 15.

Public records show, and this is from San Antonio, Texas, that he applied for a name change.

Now, his parents were separated when he was a young child.
