This happened in Virginia, and a former University of Virginia football player is suspected of opening fire and killing three UVA football players and wounding two others.

During a news conference today, the University of Virginia president Jim Ryan said the three players shot and killed were a junior receiver named Lavelle Davis Jr.

A junior receiver named Devin Chandler and a junior defensive end or linebacker named

Deshaun Perry.

And the suspect in the shooting and he was nabbed.

And apparently he was nabbed around the time of the news conference.

Just before 11 a.m. He was nabbed. He was charged with

three counts of second-degree murder, three counts of using a handgun in the commission of a felony.

in the state of Virginia.
