One of the big stories this week,

particularly for people living in Orange County and anywhere near Tustin,

was this fire at a massive blimp hangar. Valencia Avenue and Armstrong Road in Tustin.

This hangar was apparently constructed in 1942 and once housed blimbs to use in World War II.

17 stories high, wow, 1,000 feet long, 300 feet wide. It's really mostly wooden. And they let it burn.
