John is solo today. Adam Housley comes on the show to talk about how the LA Times wants the families of victims from the Borderline Bar & Grill shooting pay the legal fees for the paper. Oakland restaurants are losing thousands of dollars per week. The LA Times gave Eric Garcetti a nice tongue bath as they sent a reporter to India.

to have Adam Housley on now. You may remember Adam Housley. He used to be on our back when he was a Fox News correspondent and he was all over the world. He was in a fair number of war zones, I remember. And his family suffered a terrible tragedy. Five years ago tomorrow, it's going to be five years since that mass shooting at the borderline bar in Thousand Oaks, and his niece was killed, his brother's daughter.

And for the last few years, the family has been involved in a protracted legal case against the Los Angeles Times and other media outlets because they wanted the media outlets,

wanted the autopsy reports.

And the families were fighting it in order to protect the privacy of their family and their

loved one who died.

And the Times went to the mat.

It bounced back and forth with different decisions from

different courts. Ultimately, the Housley family lost, as did the other families involved in the case.

And the LA Times went ahead and published autopsy reports. And of course, you know, big surprise,

they all died of the gunshots.

The real terrible ending to this, though, is the LA Times now wants their legal fees paid for by the Housley family.
