Ken is off today. We're going to start with Jordana Miller, ABC News correspondent in Jerusalem for the happenings in the war between Israel and Hamas.

According to Hamas, over 10,000 people have died in Gaza.

Israel reportedly is surrounding Gaza city and is telling any Gaza residents still there

that they ought to get out because they're going to start going through the streets soon

if they haven't done it already.

It's been another long and busy day here.

Day 31 of the war is how they describe it here.

Israeli forces operating inside Gaza City, as you said.

They have encircled the city as well.

They've essentially cut the Gaza's trip into two parts, northern Gaza for the fighting

and southern Gaza, which they say is a safer zone for civilians.

And they've been urging Gazans for now more than two weeks to head south.

But it has to be said even there.

You know, there's still in the south.

There's still bombing raids.

For example, in Khan Yunus yesterday

and in a refugee camp that was in central Gaza.
