All right, well, the big story from last week is still hanging around with some updates to give you.

And this, of course, was the search warrants that were served on the home of L.A. County supervisor Sheila Kuhle.

And a woman by Patty Giggins, a close friend and ally of Sheila Kules who runs a nonprofit that had a contract with Metro, the buses and subways of L.A. County to run a sex harassment

hotline, which got like no calls over a period of years.

But Giggins.

The nonprofit is called peace over violence.

And Giggins' nonprofit made $800,000.

It was a series of no-bid contracts, which were structured so that Kuhl and the rest of the county supervisors never had to vote on it publicly.

And Jennifer Lowe used to work with Metro, and she reported what she thought was suspicious activity, corrupt activity,

because she was supposed to pay one of the bills

that Peace Over Violence submitted for $75,000,

and there was no contract attached to it.

There was no particular work invoice attached to it.

It was just a bill for 75 grand.

And she took it over to the Metro CEO, Phil Washington, saying, what's this? And he said, well, pay it.

I might need a favor from Sheila Kuhl someday. And he also didn't want to get Sheila Kul upset.

And this is the center point of the investigation, which led to a search warrant, and then Kul's house gets raided last week.

They, of course, because this is the game that's played, changes the subject.

And they cast aspersions on Sheriff Villanueva, basically saying he made the whole thing up.
