early last hour, today's the day that the former USC dean of the School of Social Work,

Marilyn Flynn, 83 years old,

entering a plea deal with federal prosecutors that she and Mark Ridley Thomas

were involved in a bribe scheme.

Now, Ridley Thomas had pleaded innocent, and that plea still stands as of the

moment. I did notice in going through all the stories today, one in the L.A. Times, that when this

story originally broke in October of last year, Flynn's lawyer, Vicki, Padberoski, said in a statement,

Ms. Flynn has not committed any crime, and we believe the evidence in this case will ultimately

support this conclusion, says Vicki Podberoski. Well, her client just pleaded guilty.
