on the John and Kent show happened at 7 a.m. this morning when a search warrant

was served at the home of the L.A. County supervisor Sheila Kuhl, also at the home of a civilian

oversight commissioner by the name of Patty Giggins. Kul and Giggins are quite close friends,

and Giggins is the head of a nonprofit called Peace Over Violence, and it's all about

county contracts that were awarded to that organization to run a sex harassment hotline for L.A.

Metro. That got very few calls, and it looks like Giggins' organization lied about the number of calls,

and it looks like Sheila Kuhl put pressure to make sure Giggins got the contract and made sure that all the cash that Giggins was due was paid.

And we are going to now put on Sheriff Alex Viannaueva.

It was his sheriff's department that led the raid along with some federal officials as well.

And the sheriff, though, is recusing himself from this case.

So we'll find out exactly what that means.
