We are going to talk now with David Kinepa.

He is, I think I'm pronouncing that right, a Democratic County supervisor from San Mateo.

And he has become one of the first Democrats to come out against Prop 47, which is...

Which he did support in 2014.

That was the year Prop 47 was passed.

And of course, it made retail thefts under $950 a misdemeanor instead of a felony.

It also did damage in the area of drug use, too, taking away a weapon that you could use to get people into rehab, but by reducing many drug

counts to misdemeanors, that also takes away that needed hedge you have.

You know, a good share of the blame for all the drug addicts dying in the streets, and

the thefts, shoplifting, the smash and grabs lead back to Prop 47,

which we were flat out lied to by the government.
