It's the last week that the legislature can pass something stupid for the year 2022.

Uh, this is the last week of the session and then they go off to, uh, lie to people during their campaigns.

And then you have, uh, election during their campaigns, and then you have election day.

And any bills that are going to be voted on by Gavin Newsom,

vetoed or passed, have to be passed by the Senate and the Assembly this week. And one of those is Assembly Bill 257,

which has, you know, one of their stupid misleading names called the Fast Food Recovery Act.

This is about the state government lording over the fast food industry and basically telling them what to do how much they can pay,

how much they should pay, the workers.

This legislation has been loudly opposed by the California Restaurant Association and the

International Franchise Association, among others.

And we're going to talk now to Jeff Hanscom.
