Well, we mentioned this story on Monday, I think, during the 3 o'clock hour if you check out your podcast.

But now we're going to get into detail on it.

It's about Barbara Ferre and the L.A. County Department of Health, and there is a trial set for

October 16th involving First Amendment violations. The group that has brought the suit is called the

Alliance of Los Angeles County Parents. Attorney Julie Hamill is going to join us now to talk more about this,

but apparently in some court filings,

we find out just how far Barbara Ferrer and her henchmen and hench women

were trying to go to block a dissent, opposing opinion,

especially on social media and, yes, in certain newspapers around

Southern California.

Well, she had announced in early July that cases were rising, people were getting hospitalized,

and so the mask mandate was going to come back, end of July.

And then there was a video that leaked of a meeting among doctors at the County USC Medical Center.

And the doctors said clearly, we're seeing nobody with severe COVID, no one in the hospital due to COVID.

There's no reason from a hospitalization due to COVID perspective to be worried.

We're seeing a lot of people with mild disease.

In other words, no reason for this mask mandate.

Well, when that leaked, people went nuts on social media, bombarded Ferrer, and she tried

to get Twitter to censor this crowd.
