1877 moist 86 1877 six six six four seven eight eight. This chapter in the criminal justice system in California,

remarkably, is not coming from L.A. County. It's coming from San Bernardino County.

We're going to talk to a former San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy by the name of Megan McCarthy,

who was attacked when she was a sheriff's deputy back in 2019 by a man who apparently

was a schizophrenic.

This happened in Victorville.

And the reason she's telling her story is she can't believe he was pretty much found not

guilty of everything related to this horrible day.

Apparently, all they found him guilty was was negligent discharge

of a firearm.

That apparently was Megan McCarthy's gun.

This is really a bizarre, disturbing story.
