I've always gathered a lot of good details and audio on the air in about an hour with an update on the complete story.

Apparently, a lot of the media was twisting itself into knots when it comes to identifying

the shooter, Audrey Hale, who was Audrey Hale.

We've learned a female at birth and decided in more recent years to transition to being

identified as a male.

And what I understand that didn't please her family.

And that's where the name Aden came in.

But anyway, that's the best we know.

And we'll get into all this in about an hour.

The Skid Row Housing Trust is a nonprofit that owns a bunch of downtown residential buildings for the homeless.

It's been around a while, but we learned only recently because apparently it was

like the worst kept secret. It's in huge financial trouble. And what's bothersome about this,

and this is an El Segundo Times special, Doug Smith and Benjamin Oreskes, as recently as 2021, Garcetti and other officials made a video

touting the opening of a new building and acting like this nonprofit was incredibly successful.

Well, it was one of the answers to our problems of housing the homeless right here. Instead,

what was really going on, and they weren't telling us,
