But right now, our special guest is a deputy DA for Los Angeles County,

Shea Santa coming back on the show.

He was the lead prosecutor in a case involving a person,

well, formerly known as James Tubbs,

now calls themselves Hannah Tubbs.

James Tubbs was convicted of sexually or attacking a 10-year-old girl in a Denny's bathroom stall.

After years on the run, they finally caught him.

Of course, because the crime occurred before Tubbs turned 18,

well, you know, that's a soft spot for L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon in terms of how the attacker is dealt with.

But it wasn't too long after all this resolved that Tubbs was also charged with a murder in Kern County, beating a man to death in the woods. And the reason we've come back

around to the story is that Shea apparently has been suspended for refusing to refer to Tubbs as Hannah, as he now identifies as Hannah, using the correct

pronouns or even calling this person, Hannah.
