Welcome, everybody. Well, we, of course, had an update today in the case of the man who plowed his car into a group of police recruits.

A bunch of agencies across L.A. County or at a training academy in the area of Whittier.

And this guy just before 6.30 yesterday morning driving the wrong way.

And I'm looking at one website where that backyard camera caught the car running right

through the recruits.

It just keeps replaying over and over again the moment that the car approaches the group of runners.

Hit 25 of them.

And of course, we have some that are still in very bad shape.

But today was the day where they announced the actual charges against this man.

His name is Nicholas Joseph Gutierrez of Diamond Bar, 22 years old.

No, my question is, since it's a murder charge, they're not saying this was an accident.

Well, it's attempted murder on a peace officer.

So that's a different sort of level than if it was a murder one, murder two.

There's a different threshold.

And that's what we'll learn tomorrow when we get the charges. The LA County Sheriff's

Department's Homicide Bureau is actually taking the lead on this along with CHP. They'll

present the charges tomorrow morning to the DA's office because I'm told there's also pending
