Welcome everybody to the John and Ken show. We've had some, well, I would say mass casualty news.

Vegas this morning. This is like a weird story. This is outside the wind near where Resorts World is on the strip.

The story we're getting now from a local television station is that a man who said he was a chef

wanted to take a picture along the strip.

There are, years ago, most of what you saw that walk up and down the strip that tried to

entice people for a picture so that you give them money.

They were usually cartoon characters, Homer Simpson, Elmo.

I noticed since the pandemic and kind of the type of people that were going to Vegas changed a bit,

the one you see the most now are the showgirls.

They wear the skimpy outfits like the show girls on stage and they walk

up and down the strip trying to entice it's usually men into taking a picture with them and then

you know pay up that's apparently who this man spoke to kind of a stupid visit about having a picture

taken and it says they said no, and he pulled a knife.

And he started stabbing them.

One dead, four injured is so far the toll.

I thought, right, when I heard this story like an hour ago, I thought it's got to be like a vagrant, just kind of randomly striking out.

We don't know that yet.

They up the casually total, according to the sheriff, Joseph Lombardo.

Now there's two deaths, three in critical condition, a total of eight victims.

Oh, okay.

Yeah.

It just came across.
