Of course, the one that's getting the most attention, is on the island of Maui, in particular, the community of Lahaina, where finally saw a number, 270.

And again, they use the word structures, damaged or destroyed, because that doesn't

necessarily mean homes.

It could mean all sorts of little backyard closets or things like that that people have on

their property.

But entire blocks of homes were wiped out.

Even a 200-year-old church in Lehina town in Maui was also wiped out.

The death toll over the night moved up to

36 people and they've had to make a number of rescues one thing I saw was you know people have to

evacuate where are you going to exactly go I mean to another island I guess or I guess the other side of the island. Yeah, I guess there is some places where it's not. Where I went to a couple of times, the sky was clear, right? Because Debra's friend was there with her family. And they have some, like, they have like a Four Seasons Hotel and other big names. Yeah, I mean, these aren't the size of Gilligan's Island. These are a little bigger than that, but you just think that it's a, plus it's also a tricky issue to get aid there because from other states, because we're so far away, right? How are you going to bring in? Yeah, it takes a while. Firefighters and equipment, I mean, firefighters, you can fly there, but if you need more equipment, how are you going to,

that's a little difficult thing to do.

The 2018 campfire here in California, of course, was devastating and killed 85 people and wiped

out the town of paradise.

They're comparing this to that because the toll's already at 36.
