Good morning, guys. How's everybody doing? How have you dealt with the air quality? You know, it hasn't been that big a problem for me to be honest because I get I do most of my stuff fairly early in the day.

You know, if I swim, if I walk, you know, whatever it might be, I noticed the haze you can't miss it. But earlier in the day like right now, it's not as bad and I was about to say, this is the time of year when when being on the golf course early. It is just a great thing because it's not that hot and you know, it's a beautiful day today.

So it hasn't affected me that much. How about you guys? I noticed it yesterday. I was out the goal. I was on the golf course yesterday and there weren't a ton of trees. So it was I wouldn't say was technically tough to breathe, but I just noticed it just wasn't pretty out.

And the white sky you're hitting the ball into the sky. You lose the ball because you're hitting a white ball into the white sky and very human. I don't know. I just didn't enjoy being outside. So we only played eight holes.

Really? So you walked in after eight holes. That reminds me of my buddy Paul Goidos playing in the US Open Qualifier at Woodmont years ago. And he did not play 36 holes and he did not play well in the morning. And they went off the back nine second round. And he got 14 and he was still playing poorly. And he said, you know what? I can see my car from here.

Right. Let's get it. I don't know. I'm not into the all-star game like I used to be when I'm meeting there. I just thought it was very interesting. The all-star starters were announced and basically the Texas Rangers entire infield will start.

Oh, it happened once with the Cardinals years ago. Did it? Yeah. So when we when we cared about the all-star game. Right. And of course, so Tony's in trouts in Aaron Judge was voted in, but he's probably not going to play because of his entry.

But I there's no meds and there's no Padres. And these are two of the biggest maybe the two biggest. I think they are the two biggest payrolls. You're right. And they're both having terrible seasons. The Padres just got swept by the pirates last night.

The meds lost again. Steve Cohen, and I know you're very familiar with this team. You can refer to a fan. Steve Cohen had a press conference a couple days ago. And he was talking about the rest of the season. You know, he seemed positive. And he said, bucks going to stay and the GM's going to stay. But he ain't happy. And then, you know, I heard Russo yesterday talking about mac surezer and how he's pissed the mac surezer might wave his no trade to go to another contender and trying to win another World Series and maybe get a new contract out.

But mac surezer. Why would that piss you off? I mean, you know, the guy has a perfect right to do it. It doesn't mean the team has to trade him. This is in the NBA where guys forced trades like that.

He's 38 years old. He's not the picture he was here in Washington. That's for sure. His DRA is slightly under four. He pitched pretty well last night.

But, you know, come on, let's be real. This team, because you're right, Jason, I do follow him closely as you know, is an unbelievable disappointment.

Shurs has been okay. Verlander's been bad. You know, I don't know why they ever thought for a second Carl's Carasco was going to help him. And, you know, Pete Alonzo has a low batting average, but it's hit a lot of home runs.

Lindor has a low batting average. Lindor doesn't play hard. That annoys me. He doesn't play that hard. He doesn't run stuff out. And that bothers me. And other guys have just not come through.

And I watched Colin's press conference. And on the one hand, I was glad he wasn't being George Steinbrenner, you know, and firing people left and right.

And I'm a big buck show Walter fan. But, on the other hand, he was like, you know, we might be sellers at the deadline.

I saw someone on an MLB TV the other night, one of the 4,000 expires who works for them, say that they should trade Alonzo at the trade deadline. That's crazy. That's crazy. He's the franchise.

And the last time they made a trade, that stupid was Tom Sever, who was nicknamed the franchise in 1977.

So, I'm glad that Colin's being patient. And with a $340 million payroll, that can't be easy.

Yeah. And then you could say the same thing about the Padres. That's an owner who wants to spend money. And with Otani becoming a free agent, you know, Otani apparently wants to stay on the West Coast.
