One of the great ironies of living in a world that fetishizes diversity is how similar everybody in charge is exactly

the same. They have the same opinions, they wear the same clothes, they even look the same

physically. So when you see somebody in the public eye who

doesn't look the same, it tends to kind of stick out and you don't forget it. If you've

watched professional golf anytime in the last 35 years. You may have noticed golf or golf or

golf or golf or guy smoking marble red golf or golfer. Who is that guy? And that of course is one of

the most famous golfers in the history of golf John Daly who doesn't look or act or think like pretty much anyone else who plays the game.

And so we thought it would be really interesting to sit down with him and find out what he's like.

So you've played, you said you started at Arkansas like 40 years ago.

So you're still playing. Yeah, older, but to play the Champions Tour, we have a blast.

Yeah, it's, you know, it's one sport you can play all your life.

All your life.

Do you ever think of yourself as like the one guy who doesn't seem like everybody else on tour.

Kind of fit that mold.

You know, I wasn't really a pot to pissing when I grew up.

So like, where do you grow up?
