Yes, it's that time of year.

Snow is not falling in Los Angeles, but it does fall in parks of Utah at this time.

And the gentleman

from the Sundance Film Festival, John Cooper and Trevor Groff, have deigned to come back and

talk about this year's festival. Guy, thanks a much for coming back. Thanks. This is easy.

For you, maybe. But we were talking before we got started. And it felt to me as if you guys

had sort of locked the programming pretty

early. You said you didn't announce any earlier than usual, but you said internally you sort of

locked things down a bit earlier. Yeah, well, we had, I think we panicked a little bit too. We had more

submissions than we'd had in past year. So I mean, did you have, John? I think we had maybe up

5% in all the feature films, but shorts alone came in at 1,000 more than they had before.

What was it?

I think we had 7,500 shorts submitted to us.

So you know, you see that workload, and I think it set us into this mode of getting it done just to make sure.

And we actually started building in.

I actually liked that little bit of cushion from locking the program and then having a little

bit of time to ponder it and go over and think, is this really right and do some fine-tuning.

After you lock, do you move things around?

Does this tend to really stay locked?
