Welcome back to the Wolverine.com podcast. I'm John Bork. We're walking Michigan football and basketball today with one of our absolute favorites, Tom Crawford.

Tom, our man in East Lansing, Michigan, who not only goes way back with both sports, but who was, had a little different experience

down there in Indianapolis for the Michigan's Big Ten championship game. Tom, welcome back to the

podcast. That's great to be back, J.B. It's good to be following the maze and blue in all sports

these states. Yeah, I went fan, as I mentioned last week, first time since the 2011, Michigan, Ohio State game.

I have been doing the media box, and I'll do that next year and everything.

But during this stretch drive, I wanted to go fan.

And, oh, my God, it was the most

incredible experience. You know, we had great seats about the 43 yard line, 22 rows up. We had

beer. We had access to all the sports bars and that incredible facility. And I've never seen

so much just love for fellow Michigan fans reaching out the

person four rows in front of you would be running back to give you a high five. It was an

incredible amount of pent up exuberation for a Big Ten title first time in 17 years.

Yeah, no doubt about it.

Now, we get the from the sidelines view from Doug Karsh on a weekly basis.

I mean, we're going to get a little bit of the from the stands view this time.

Were you near any Iowa fans and talk about their reaction to what was taking place early on,

and then as things wore on, and it became clear that Michigan was going to be in control?

Well, you know, one thing, and I'm fortunate, I have a fraternity brother who's a pretty high donor,

and he gets the great season.

We're all about Michigan fans all around us a little bit, maybe a section over to the left.

There was Iowa fans. And I'm going to tell you something about Iowa fans.
