The FBI is searching the Maryland home and Washington office of John Bolton, President Trump's former national security advisor, who later turned into one of his fiercest critics.

A source familiar with the operation tells the Associated Press that the investigation is tied to Bolton's handling of classified documents.

As a Friday morning, he hadn't

been charged and wasn't detained by agents. Neither Bolton nor the Justice Department has commented.

But Friday morning, shortly before the FBI arrived on Bolton's doorstep, FBI director

Cash Patel dropped a not-so-suttle post on X, saying, quote, no one is above the law.

Attorney General Pam Bondi reposted it, adding that, quote, America's safety isn't negotiable.

Bolton's clashes with Trump are well documented, from Iran and Afghanistan to North Korea.

And his tell-all book, The Room Where It Happened, triggered a high-profile legal fight during Trump's first term.

With the government, again, accusing Bolton of disclosing classified secrets.

This raid now marks the latest move in a growing pattern as the Trump administration uses legal

battles to go after ex-officials who broke rank.

A new development as Southern California investigators raced to find a missing seven-month-old

boy. San Bernardino County sheriffs arrested the parents of baby Emmanuel Harrow Friday on suspicion of murder.

Nathan Salas reports that Emmanuel had been missing for over a week.

His mother, Rebecca Haro, first told investigators she was attacked and knocked unconscious in the parking lot of a Yucaypa Big Five.

When she woke up, she says her son was gone. But detectives say

her story didn't add up and she later stopped speaking with authorities. Over the past week,

police searched the family's cab is on home, seizing electronics, their car, and bringing in police dogs.
