So I learned for the first time the other day.

I had never heard this story that John Amici playing in, what was it, Kansas City, Kansas City?

Yeah. I mean, I lament sometimes that this is part of the story that people don't know.

And obviously, it's clearly in my self-interest.

But I started playing the game when I was 17 years old.

That was the first time I touched a basketball.

I was wearing rugby shorts and plimsels in a gym where the basket was on the wall.

And so every time you went to do a layup,

you'd twist your ankle on the wall when you came down. Because Britain didn't have basketball,

and now you're starting 10 years behind. If you're picking up a basketball for the first time as a big awkward kid who was handed a basketball because you were a big awkward kid?
