If you could tell us a little bit about your background and how you got to where you are right now,

that would be fantastic.

Okay. So I'm a family. I was, I am a family doctor.

I practiced family medicine for about 20 years.

In the middle of my training, I was in the public health service.

1:20.2

And the National Health Service Corps as a primary care doc and rural West Virginia.

Excuse me. I went back and finished my residency.

1:31.2

And after my residency, did a Robert Wood Johnson fellowship for two years,

studying research design epidemiology and statistics.

1:40.2

And was thought I was headed for a career in academic medicine teaching family medicine.
