Last week on Thomas and the Bible.

Thomas starts with lamentations, specifically lamenting the continued absence of Harley's introductions.

He continues with John 3 through 5, where Jesus verily, verily says unto Nicodemus, the famous John 316 quote,

interpreted by Thomas as saying that God, rather than taking a

mulligan on the world, instead gives us his only son. Jesus and John do some baptizing in a way that

leads Thomas to question not only belief, but God's need for belief. Jesus says that his water is better

than everyone else's, despite admitting he has no honor back home.

He does his usual bag of tricks, making wine and healing people, which eventually enrages the

Jews enough to persecute and want to kill him. Any on count of one.

Why, that wasn't Harley, that wasn't Harley at all. Uh, thank you so much to Kevin for filling in on the intro. Yeah, Kevin just sent me that and said if Harley doesn't do it, then I use that. And Harley didn't send me anything, so I use that. I think Harley's very busy and is working in school and stuff these days. So no hard feelings at all. I love Harley very much.

I just want to make that clear. But, but yeah, Harley, it's okay if you don't have time anymore.

It seems like Kevin can take over. If you do have time, I'm happy to use your intros.

So either way, thank you so much, Kevin. And here we are today for, I think it'll be, well, I always say this, and then sometimes it's not true, but I think it'll be a little bit of a shorter episode just based on page numbers. Sometimes it doesn't divide quite evenly. But we'll see. We'll see, maybe not.

This is Thomas in the Bible, and we're reading the Bible. Let me summarize

everything that's happened so far. No, never mind. I'm not going to do it. I'm not ever going to

even come close to do it. No, maybe I'll do, yeah, who knows? Long after this is dead, or

shortly after this is dead, and I move on to another book,

maybe I'll do one-offs, you know, maybe I'll do like, here's what happened in the Old

Testament or here's what happened in the Pentateuch or the, you know, maybe I'll do something

like that or make it available just to patrons or, yeah, who knows, there's all kinds of

possibilities. So maybe someday I will do like a summary show.

I'll have to do a lot of studying for it, but it's worth it.
