Hello and welcome back to Sochiology 101. Today we're going to be replying to our friend and colleague Chris Date, who is a fellow worker with us, a professor there at Trinity Seminary and a college

to do so. And it's been a while since I've done a live broadcast, as some of you may have noticed. And so despite the way I'm feeling at the moment, I decided to go

and jump on here and respond to Chris Dates. I guess he's done several other broadcasts since then,

but he did a broadcast replying in part to me and others with regard to how the word

Helco or draw is used in John 644. And of course, this is a hot topic debate when it comes

to Calvinism and Armenianism and provisionism. You often hear this conversation kind of going

back and forth. And so I know that people who are the theology geeks, the nerds, are going to be interested

in this kind of content.

Some of you who are just passerbyes may see and hear something like this and go, oh, boring.

But us theology geeks, we like to dive in deep.

And Chris is one of the best to push us to go deeper and to help us to think more

deeply. He is very meticulous in his responses. I think Chris is a very careful scholar.

Sometimes he might not think of me as being very serious because I'm not maybe as in depth and

careful as he is.
