Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we recently looked at the first miracle of Jesus.

That miracle of Jesus. That miracle of

Jesus was at a wedding where Jesus turned water into wine. The first miracle was at a

celebration. In our story today we will see the second public miracle of Jesus.

This miracle occurs not at a time of celebration, but at a time of devastation.

But this miracle can teach us a lot about our Lord.

Let's now join Pastor John as we continue our teaching in John chapter 4

and learn about the ministry of Jesus.

And when he was come, verse 45, into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the

things that he did at Jerusalem, for they also went to that feast. Now it doesn't mean they received

him as their Savior. It means they welcomed him as a curious miracle worker.

They were not so much into who he was, but they wanted to see what he would do.
