All right, if you've got a Bible, go to John Chapter 14. We're taking the better part of a year,

and we're going verse by verse through a whole book of the Bible

called John.

It's all about Jesus, and it's written by his nearest and

dearest best friend who was an eyewitness. So when Jesus said something he heard

it when Jesus did something he saw it and the storyline of John begins all the way in

eternity past because Jesus is our eternal God and the first half of the book

covers everything from eternity past through his birth, his upbringing up until

about the early 30s, where he starts his public ministry, and then the last half of John's

gospel where we find ourselves today everything slows down if this

was a film the camera would pan in and it would pay careful close attention because we're

in the final days of Jesus life before he goes to the cross and

dies in our place for our sins and it just goes to show that every day of your life

is important but some days are exceedingly important.

The experiences you have, the decisions you make,

those are pivot points for the next season of your life

for good or for bad.

And this is where Jesus finds himself.

And it's a good reminder for us
