All right if you've got your Bible go to John chapter 7 we're taking the better part of a year and

just going through John's gospel this was Jesus nearest and dearest best friend while he was on the earth. He gives us some unique insights that he won't learn anywhere else in the history of the world about Jesus and the storyline is this that we rebelled against God, we separated ourselves

from God, we did not want a relationship with God, but God is so good that he sent Jesus, the

son of God, to the Earth on a rescue mission to seek us to save us to

serve us to invite us into a relationship with him.

And so as we're seeing Jesus is a teacher, he does a lot of teaching and training and talking.

And what's fascinating is hardly anybody's listening.

How many of you are parents and you've got kids like this? You're trying to help them and they're just not paying attention and sometimes it's very fascinating to read the scriptures and to just pull back and to just consider the obvious for a moment.

God comes to the earth.

That's quite an inconvenience.

That's a really great thing that God did for us.

And then God walks around in the desert, in the heat of the day, in the cool of the night,

and he sits down and stands up and in various contexts he teaches people.
