Summary

Johannes Kelpius was a religious hermit who lived in Pennsylvania at the turn of the eighteenth century. Kelpius was witness to various paranormal events, something he called “strange things of the invisible worlds.” Was Kelpius a doomsday cult leader? Did he possess the Philosopher’s Stone? Timothy Grieve-Carlson discusses Kelpius and the world that influenced–and was influenced by him–as detailed in his book, “American Aurora”.
