And yes, I am still without Samantha, but I am joined today by a friend of the show,

friend in real life, contributor, Joey, who has been with us several times, who is a good nerd friend of mine so much so that this episode

ballooned into two parts and we kept talking for about an hour after it was over. But yes,

we are back with part two of our conversation with Joey about New York Comic-Con and fandom in general.

If you haven't, as hinted at, as discussed in that episode, really, we need Samantha to rain

us in because, yeah, she was out sick, and we just had so much to say.

And we kept going indeed after the mic was off.

But there's just so much that is going on with the mainstreaming of fandom to talk about.

And in fact, we came up with several other episode ideas doing this.

So this was a surprise two-parter.

And so I just want to put in the reminder here.

We are going to be talking about sexual assault and harassment in this part.

Not in detail, but that is where we're picking up with the conversation today.

So let's get back into our discussion.

Last thing I want to just discuss a little bit, which this is what I was going to

at the top where I said, I was going to touch a little bit on sexual assault or harassment.

This kind of came top of mind again because we did a story for
