So it's less than a month from the 4th of July, getting into the summer.

One of the biggest traditions is Nathan's hot dog eating contest.

And for the last two decades, one guy has dominated. His name is Joey Chestnut.

First time that I really became aware of competitive

eating and I know they've done this for years and years. Yeah. It was really Kobayashi.

Sure. And it was kind of the start of our show.

We would talk about Kobayashi to an extent.

There was a legend that he had two stomachs.

It's the first time that I kind of became aware of the whole method

of dipping the buns into water and then they were just

pummeling the hot dogs. That's a standard now. But then Joey Chestnut came

into the field and just crushed the competition.

Well, he owns that event, the Nathan's hot dog eating contest

on July 4th.

He's won it 16 times, including 16 of the last 17 that have been held.

Yes, he has 16 mustard belts.

Yes.

He holds the all-time record with 76 hot dogs and buns eaten which he set in 2021 is is that in 10 minutes or I don't know the exact time it's either 10 or 15 minutes

It's it's a shocking number of hot dogs in a small amount of time.

It's unbelievable.
