something could happen any moment with Joey Bosa and so that's what we're keeping an eye on what is the

hold up on on Joey Bosa as expected Kaleil Mac not going anywhere my

prediction is that was that Kaleil Mac would be retained by the chargers because he's

too good of a player. Jim Haribagh didn't show up in LA to take over the chargers because he

wanted to rebuild. Jim Haribagh loves as most people do, but Jim Hariball really loves Blue Chip defensive disruptors.

Kalil Mack is that. He's not going anywhere. So why haven't they cut Joey Bosa yet? What are we waiting for?

It's not just are we waiting for Joey? It's waiting to find out what Joey Bosa's market would be

and waiting to find out how much of a discount might he be willing to take to play for the 49ers.

So the question is right now are the chargers, the only reason for the chargers to wait around is because the chargers are trying to

figure out if there's a trade out there for them. And the question is, how much are you willing

to trade in order to acquire Joey Bosa? is which hits on Saturday. So that'll be the, they will need to trade him by then,

or cut him by then, and $22 million.

Now, unlike some other deals where a team is willing to acquire a late round pick

Just to get somebody else to take the contract. Oh, we'll take a seventh rounder. It'll save us some money on the cap that only makes sense for the

chargers if they trade Joey Bosa after June 1st but they don't want to wait that long

because they'd have to pay him the seven million dollar bonus on Saturday.

So the chargers are not waiting around. I think this is the part after diving into his contract a little bit on over the cap that illuminates it is it's

going to cost the chargers $8 million to trade him rather than release him with a post June 1 designation.

If Joey Bosa gets released with a post June 1 designation,

then the dead cap hit is $14.6 million and the savings is $22 million save.
