He is William Simon Professor of Economics and Public Policy, Director of Economics and Professor of Political Economy at Hillsdale College,

also the man with a giant business card.

Dr. Wolfram, thanks so much for joining us.

Well, thanks for having me again.

Talking today about the Kamara Harris Plan and one that has been floated by others as well,

taxing unrealized gains.

Explain to us this idea as proposed in the Harris Economic Plan.

Well, taxing unrealized capital gains is that when you have a, let's say, a stock or you have a business, what's going to happen is that

you're going to be taxed on these gains, and this is going to lead to all sorts of problems,

which we can talk about a little bit. But the way Camilla Harris has is that it's going to be

on people who have wealth above $100 million.

There's about 11,000 of those people.
